Ready to quit smoking?

You may be eligible for a free workshop that includes a free five-week supply of the nicotine patch or nicotine inhaler to help you quit smoking.

Ten workshops are being hosted by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit and community partners with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Participants must be 18 or older, daily smokers and ready to quit.
The workshop is designed to help participants understand their addiction and how NRT can help reduce cravings. It will also help them make a quit plan and develop coping skills to succeed.

The workshop is part of a provincial study evaluating the success of various types of smoking cessation support for Ontarians, being conducted by CAMH and the Ministry of Health Promotion.

Workshops take place at the following dates and locations:

Nov. 12 – Barrie (12-3 p.m.), Huntsville (2-5 p.m.), Alliston (6-9 p.m.)

Nov. 13 – Midland (10 a.m.-1 p.m.), Bracebridge (10 a.m.-1 p.m.), Wasaga (4-7 p.m.), Orillia (6-9 p.m.)
